  2. b) Chi-square test for each group. Five 2 × 2 contingency tables were prepared to test differences in distribution by smoking. Since comparison was repeated five times, significance level in this series was adjusted by Bonferroni correction, made by multiplying each p-value by 5. For convenience of interpretation, significance level was retained at P < 0.05 throughout this table.
