Lung histomorphology of C57BL/6 J mice induced by CS exposure and intraperitoneal injection of CSE (×100). Lung tissues of C57BL/6 J mice induced by CS exposure (C1) exhibited enlarged alveolar space, thinner alveolar septum, and destroyed alveolar wall when compared with those of the controls (N1). Lung tissues of C57BL/6 J mice induced by intraperitoneal injection of CSE (C2) also exhibited enlarged alveolar space, thinner alveolar septum, and destroyed alveolar wall when compared with those of the controls (N2).
